I am interested in bringing THIS IS HOW we SURVIVE to my:
  • This performance work has been designed to open up conversations about mental health and community resilience in a gentle and inspiring way. Groups who experience the work will be guided through a process of deep connection around real human stories. Through the power of artistic and creative communication, This is How We Survive aims to support individuals, groups, teams and communities to reflect on their strengths and implement simple strategies for enhancing wellbeing and mental health outcomes.

  • A space with a projector and speakers. A theatre or studio space is best, but the work can be adapted to a range of settings, eg. a library, a school hall, an arts gallery. The vulnerable themes within the work mean it's well suited to intimate groups of 50-100 people, but that's flexible too. Reach out and we can discuss our tech needs and the best plan for your context.

  • We've created multiple adaptations of this work to suit different audiences. The 'general audience' version will appeal to fans of spoken word poetry, live storytelling and immersive arts experiences. People who work in mental health and the arts will find the work empowering and affirming. The school adaptation is best suited to years 9-12. Both versions contain stories of First Nations and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people (shared with permission) and performances can be tailored to cultural groups and settings.

  • During our initial rollout phase, thanks to PHN funding we are able to bring this work to a selection of schools and venues across the Hunter, New England and Central Coast regions for FREE until June 2025. If you fit this criteria, reach out now while spots are still available! Interested in a performance outside of these regions? We'd love to chat. Send us a message and we can discuss what it would cost to bring to your area or event.
